Dear friends,
we are already in the second month of this year,
which promises to be intense.
Real estate crisis, political crisis, various wars, price increases, shortages of some products, etc. etc
If we only see the negative part, surely some of the things I mention above (or all) can hit each of us in one way or another.
But like everything in life, if we know how to see it with a positive attitude, that will bring many good things to this beloved town of Altea.
We must never forget that this is a privileged corner of the earth.
For its climate, for its beauty and for its special characteristics
And what is the good that all of the above can bring us?
That more and more people,
from different parts of the world,
want to come and live in this wonderful land.
(as a real estate agent I think it’s great but as a townsperson it horrifies me)
News number one:
New supermarket in L’Olla:
The Spanish chain very present in this part of the coast, MyMercat, which has two supermarkets in Calpe and another in Jalón, has just opened a very nice one where the Renault was, in front of the Plaza de la República Argentina on highway 332.
It has a very interesting line of products with a lot of local material and artisan products. I recommend the visit

NEXT BOMB IN ALTEA HILLS!

To keep you updated on what is happening here, I will give you some news from Altea and what is happening in this picturesque town…..
I’ll post some photos of how the works are going.
They are working hard and moving forward at full speed.
There is still no scheduled opening date, but I assure you it will be the bomb!

The Altea real estate market continues with a shortage of product and rising prices.
THIS IS THE LITTLE WE CAN FIND FOR SALE IN ALTEA
And although clients complain about the prices of properties around here, the other day it occurred to me to do a small study comparing prices of apartments similar in size, location and views on Idealista with:
Marbella, Mallorca and Ibiza
An apartment in Mascarat with beautiful sea views worth around €300-400,000
Something “similar” (in quotes) in size, location and views
In Marbella it would be worth between €600-800,000.
In Mallorca about €800-1,000,000
and in Ibiza between €1,300,000 and €1,500,000
Always obviously depending on many diverse factors.
So for those who tell me that Altea is expensive, I ask you……
Do we have room to go up?
Keep in mind that the real estate market is “stopped” in almost the entire world as investors are waiting for the drop in interest rates to start buying properties again.
ALTEA REAL ESTATE IN A FEW MONTHS
Those who know say that it will be in the middle of the year (when Madrid signs Mbappe)
Furthermore,
in Altea there is practically no new construction nor many possibilities, therefore the smart ones are buying properties that are more than 20 years old, renovating them and selling them for an interesting profit.

If you plan to buy in these parts, do it now before the tourists come in droves and prices skyrocket……
The other day I was with Ukrainians showing plots in Altea Hills,
and they told me that they assume that Putin will annex the Black Sea coast area (Odessa),
Therefore,
the money Ukrainians are already rushing from there.
And they love the Costa Blanca!!!
