Today is a great day!
Why?
Because it’s friday!
And Fridays are beautiful, right?
Even if we think about it, we should make every day precious, so that our life (and that of those around us) would be much more enjoyable …
Because today as it is a great day (like any other),
I’m going to tell you a little story….
It was the year 1995 …
I lived in Madrid.
I was Prince Sports manager, a luxury Wellness Center with gym, 6 squash courts and 4 outdoor paddle courts located in Serrano 240

A luxury place…
At that time there were very few sites of that level.
There were Abasota, Palestra, Abascal and Castellana, and it was a place where you could find the most famous and VIPS people in Madrid.
There you met politicians, famous athletes, artists, TV presenters, and people from high society, etc. Etc.
There I met Bertín Osborne, Mar Flores, Matias Prats, Isabel Gemio, Fernando Redondo, Jorge Valdano …
Just to name a few …
And nothing more or nothing less than the current King of Spain, at that time Prince Felipe!
WE WERE SO YOUNG!!
HERE IS WHERE I REALLY LEARNED TO TREAT (AND SELL) SUPER FAMOUS VIP PEOPLE!
I was married for a few years with my second wife and in the middle of the year I suffered a personal revolution (another one), which really was a very big need for change. I simply wanted another life, I needed another life….
I am not going to bore you with many details, but I am going to tell you that I left everything, and from living in the Barrio de Salamanca, I went to live ALONE at a farm in the middle of La Mancha, whose nearest neighbor was 10 kms away.
There along with three beautiful mastiff dogs, I started a complete recycling.

As the farm was for sale, I bought my first mobile phone and the Madrid property broker that had it for sale, sent me clients and I, with the Land Rover, taught them (sold) the 500-hectare estate that even had a River inside …
It was wonderful!
Until I sold it.
There I screwed up the invention
Now I had to find a new life again …
I had to make another important decision again …
What did I do with my life?
By personal circumstances I knew Altea and as I liked the experience of selling properties, then I decided to come to live in this beautiful town and devote myself fully to real estate sales.
Thus began in 1995 my career as a Real Estate Agent in Altea.

You see, the chance and circumstances of life brought me to the sea, when what I really like is the countryside …
I started working at Amper Villas in Altea La Vella and as at that time the majority client in this town was German (now they are Belgians) and I did not speak German (I only spoke English and Italian, how little I know French what I learned later), I didn’t sell much.
To earn a living, I helped Alfredo Bataller in valuing properties and their subsequent sale, which at that time and before opening the famous SHA Wellness Clinic was dedicated to buying and selling properties.

It was a time when I acquired a great experience in Real Estate.
But as I had more ambitions, in 1997 I had the opportunity to open a real estate company in Gijón (Asturias) with a partner, so I went there.

I spent a year and a half working in real estate and simultaneously conducting real estate studies at the University of Barcelona from a distance, until the climate of Asturias could with me,
and in 1999 I undertook the return to Altea.
The weather here gave me back the joy that the “orbayo” had taken from me….
Asturias is beautiful, people are lovely and eat fantastic, but the weather is horrible, and for me the sun means life, joy and health.
BACK TO THE SUN!
Thus began my penultimate real estate journey in this beautiful town.
At the end of 2000 we opened the first office in the Port of Campomanes with a partner, and in 2001 we started selling like crazy.

It was an incredible year because at the end of it it changed the peseta to the euro, so the locals bought from 2 or 3 apartments on planes, and not only the locals, I remember a Dutch lawyer who bought 9.
Time of glory until September 11 …
Sounds about the Twin Towers?
THE WORLD STOPPED!
It all stopped.
Life stopped …
We spent a few months selling nothing until the world began to spin again …
That’s life, don’t stop, die who dies, everything keeps turning …
The world keeps spinning…
When we leave this world, soon afterwards no one will remember us, that’s why friends think about it, you have to give value to certain things and take them away from others.
You know each one what I mean.
Each to their own.
In 2003 due to discrepancies with my partner, I decided to open my own office in Mascarat

In 2007 we formed a group of several real estate agencies in Altea and in its beginning it worked very well until the crisis of 2009 caught us all and that was: a save who can.

until in 2015 and having not scarce enough, I opened with another partner Ellite Properties in Altea

I think this time I have had enough and not only do not want partners, but I do NOT want employees or salespeople.
What I cannot do alone, I will not do, that simple.

Seriously speaking, I have once again become a real estate professional, and not a pseudo executive fire extinguisher with problems of all kinds.
I feel so calm …

Now it is necessary that the authorities in turn improve the town as I said before, and especially in cleaning and small details
And our life in this little paradise will be wonderful, better than it can be now.
