This beautiful and peaceful town is becoming a refuge for wealthy people who don’t want to be in popular places like Ibiza or Marbella.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since the internet allows us to be connected all the time, no matter where we are, people have many more options when it comes to where to live, or at least spend as much time as possible.<\/p>\n

And Altea is becoming a refuge for many of them, and of diverse nationalities.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

They come from all over the world, and from the most unexpected places in the world.<\/p>\n

Our wonderful climate, combined with the quality of the air and food, the proximity to the Alicante and Valencia airports with countless daily flights to Europe, the high-speed train station to Madrid less than 40 minutes away, and the wide range of bilingual schools available, make Altea an increasingly sought-after location for foreign buyers looking for their own private paradise.<\/p>\n

All of this is being noticeably reflected in the real estate market.<\/p>\n

First of all, there is a significant shortage of properties for sale.<\/p>\n

Secondly, the few owners who put their properties up for sale are asking for increasingly high prices, so prices are skyrocketing\u2026<\/p>\n

And let’s not even talk about rentals.<\/p>\n

There’s practically no supply, and if something comes up, it’s rented the same day, with a casting call included\u2026<\/p>\n\n

Altea is putting out to tender the construction of the Pont de Moncau bridge, a project that will last at least ONE year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The project will be carried out to renew the entire sanitation and drinking water network, “in addition to implementing changes that improve mobility on these roads.”<\/p>\n

The project will run from the National Highway to Plaza de la Creu.<\/p>\n
