The beautiful and picturesque town of Altea La Vella is located at the foot of the Sierra de Bernia on the Callosa road.

It is surrounded by urbanizations such as Sierra de Altea, Sierra de Altea Golf, Jardín de Alhama, Paradiso, El Riquet, Santa Clara etc.

Following a few kilometers after Callosa is the famous medieval town of GUADALEST and the Fuentes del Río Algar from where the river of the same name originates.
